I chose Yes because on speedmods I can "read" arrows better than on x1. However I use only mods x. On fev songs may I use Cxxx mods.

No. I have never played with speedmods except on Bag. I don't know why, I just don't. Kind of like how I don't use the bar, ever.

I don't use C's becuase they disqualify for high-scores and I like those. I do, however use speed mods. On DDR I use 2. ITG I use 2, 2.5, or 3 due to the lack of a display on the bottom of the screen... I can see them coming quicker. Just makes it easier to read. Maybe someday i'll go back with no speedmods, but I'm a "survivor" type of player, try to pass the hardest I can with any mods necessary. Just my thing, y'know?

I usually do C600... But i have an ITG2 beta rip, so VerTex^2 turns invisible at the end.

I don't use speedmod for DDR. It's better to score without speedmod more ... 'real' ^^'

But in ITG, I usually play on x3/x4, but no C450 (due to score disqualification). How do you want to read those damn arrows in 'Euphoria' Expert for exemple xD ?

It depends on my mood. Sometimes I'll use them to get better scores on songs than I would get just sightreading on 1x. But if the main challenge is reading the arrows for a song (like My Summer Love, Bag, etc) then I generally don't use them.

I also like mixing speed mods with boost for some songs (like Afronova 1.5 boost, or EOTC 2x boost) for additional fun.

And then there are those days I just play everything naturally. 1x nothing - the way Konami intended (at least in the first few mixes!)

Back when I played die-hard, I was kinda like town_plagiarist... I've got nothing against speedmods, and Konami adding them to the game must have meant they want you to use it when you see fit.

Most of the time I 1.5x'ed everything, just because I like it better, but I could also read My Summer Love, bag, etc with ease on 1x, and I cleared HVAM Shuffle 3x once too. ;P

I usually don't use the speed mods on regular DDR but for Stepmania, etc. I put it on 1.5x. Although, if I do get in a hyper mood I bump it up some on the happy hardcore songs.
