Hmm, maybe it's not the best strategy, but that's how I like to do streams. I agree with you on one major point: Long streams are COOL! Very fun and they look harder than they are so the rubbernecking tourists think they are seeing someone awesome play.

There's just something satisfying about comboing a whole long stream. That's why Abyss is fun for me, and 321 Stars.

I'm not a big fan of huge streams, honestly. I have stamina, but not much of it. If I had enough, I would've passed HVAM and Max 300 by now.

I guess everyone has something they like to do best in DDR songs. I'm sure that someone else out there has a very easy time with So Deep, and as I said earlier in this thread that song gives me fits! MAN, it's hard! It would be a bit easier if DDR had a 2.5x speed mod like ITG, because 2x is too clumpy and 3x is too fast!

So Deep... IMHO it's not 9. It's too hard. For me... It's hard 10 or easy 11. That's my opinion. 1st time i complete this song with bar and C400. Rank D. For that time... I do not play this song... Little bonus:

I feared So Deep forever, and then when I played, it was very very easy. I'm better at chaos, not really at streams.

I believe my scores pretty much do all the explaining for me, lol. But keep in mind that i used the PS2 controller for them... on pad its a different story... I get few AA's and B's but most of the time its all A's.

contorls are not hard at all, i could AAA star any song on DDR extreme with a controller

Problem is make AAA on dance pad. I have AAA on keyboard (in StepMania) at 5 foot song and on pad - 5x1 foot songs.

why is it so easy to have AAA on Stepmania while deadly hard on dance pad?

I've noticed, most of the dancemania songs are not having a 10-foot rating in DDR but only konami songs...

let's take for example So Deep and Cartoon Heroes Speedy Mix...they are obviously 10-foot ratings to me

Yes, So Deep and Healing Vision ~Angelic Mix~ it's deinity a 10-footers songs. Do this songs on pad without mods\rail is a very hard thig. I think INSERTiON and (if I good remember) Burning Heat! from 7th Mix it's a 10 footers.
